About: Christina Freeburn

Since I can remember, books have been one of my loves. There was nothing better than picking up a story and finding myself in a new place and greeting new friends. Writing came later, 9th grade, when a friend and I decided to write a teenage romance together. That book is safely hidden.

Detective Novels. Inspirational Romantic Suspense. Mysteries. My writing usually includes some type of crime. There’s something about creating stories where the wrongs are made right that appeals to me. Justice being dealt. Characters struggling to overcome and fight against the world and people that seem set to destroy them. Heroes and heroines finding their hope, promise and future after believing for a time that it was out of their reach.

Lost Then Found, the first in the New Beginnings series, published by Desert Breeze Publishing is scheduled for release November 2011.

  1. Hey Christina,
Congratulations on getting published!!! Your stories sound interesting–I love suspense and mysteries. Are you from West Virginia? If you are, I am too!! I live on the Eastern Panhandle close to Washington D.C. After I get off of wordpress, I’ll check out your link to West Virginia Writers, Inc. It’s cool to see fellow West Virginians follow their dreams–we’re more than country folk LOL.

  2. I actually already checked out the website and plan on paying dues by July 1st. There was a writing group that meets in Charles Town every other Friday that I was interested in trying to join. I think meeting writers in person would be more benefical then always being online.

It’s so cool that you leave in the Eastern Panhandle too!!

    Keep smiling,
    Yawatta
